Ended up calling tech support and was told photosmart wasn't even the software that is supposed to come with it and ended up helping me download something called photo creations--garbage. I am an avid scrapbooker and used about every software under the sun, but I found this very un-user friendly. Photos came out grainy. The scan software is easy to use and quick.
