I was able to install the original XP status monitor from the CD, onto Windows Vista Home Premium. On the install cd, you need to open the 'STM3' folder under whatever language you are installing, 'English' in my case. There are several.exe files in that folder: E_S1LAC2.EXE E_SCHK02.EXE E_SIINS2.EXE E_SPSU02.EXE STMSETUP.EXE For each of these, right click on the file, and choose 'Properties'. Under the 'Compaitbility' tab, choose 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' - Windows XP (Service Pack 2). Then run the 'STMSETUP.EXE' file, and it should install properly, and work.
