Had a customers Toshiba Satelillte Radius laptop here few days ago, along with a few other problems she was having the laptops touch pad was not working at all. Customer had purchased this laptop 4 weeks prior, brand new basically.

Had Windows 8.1, customer stated it “updated to Windows 10 automatically about 2 weeks prior. Customer lost the touch pad completely 4 days prior to bringing it in to me.

USB wireless mouse or regular usb mouse worked fine and able to navigate around the laptop. Touchscreen on this particular laptop worked fine also. (Touchpad not working not even a cursor) Just about all laptops have a top row “F” key that can disable & re-enable the touchpad, this was not the case here.

Aug 06, 2015  Initially after the update to Windows 10 the touchpad was fully functional, but after this latest round of Microsoft updates the ability to scroll with the touchpad had disappeared. Found that the Synaptics driver had been updated to v19.0.10.
